Clinton joined the firm in September 2012 as a law clerk in the firm's Columbia, Missouri office. After clerking for two years, he became an Associate in September 2014 in the firm's Kansas City, Missouri office. In June 2020, he moved to the St. Louis area and opened the firm’s third office in downtown Clayton.
Clinton’s practice includes a wide range of cases including automobile accidents, fraud, breach of contract and violations of the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act. He has tried numerous jury trials and obtained favorable rulings in numerous dispositive motions for his clients. He has been named a “Rising Star” by Thompson Reuters’ Super Lawyer publication three times. He also participated in the Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy. In June 2019, Clinton received a Service Coin from Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt for his pro bono work on the Military Legal Assistance Team.
Clinton graduated from University of Missouri School of Law in 2014. He was involved with the school's trial team, the litigation-focused Elwood L. Thomas American Inn of Court, the Landlord/Tenant Litigation Practicum and the Midwest Innocence Project. Prior to law school, Clinton graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in business management and a minor in Spanish.
Clinton and his wife, Deb, have three sons (Elijah, Walter and Arlo) and a dog (Ozzie).

May 2024 – Clinton Turley and Payton Anderson obtained a defense verdict in a disputed fault head on collision case. Plaintiff asked for almost $1.25M in closing argument. The jury returned a verdict of no fault on either party, resulting in a judgment for defendant.

February 2022 – Clinton Turley and Kevin Looby obtain jury verdict for less than previously filed Offer of Judgment in rear-end collision. The jury assessed 30% fault to Plaintiff and returned a defense verdict as to a loss of consortium claim.

November 2020 – Clinton Turley obtains complete dismissal of three clients in automobile negligence case. Plaintiff alleged general negligence as to the client-driver and negligent entrustment as to the vehicle owner clients.

April 2020 – Ian Bartalos, Clinton Turley and Thomas Golson obtain favorable rulings on Motion for Summary Judgment and Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings for client accused of Missouri Merchandising Practices Act violations wherein plaintiff sought nearly $1M in damages.

October 2017 – Michael McCausland and Clinton Turley obtain defense verdict in defense of driver accused of negligence in T-bone accident at an intersection controlled by four-way stop.

July 2017 – Michael McCausland and Clinton Turley obtain second largest defense verdict ($10M value) in Missouri for 2017. Plaintiff brought suit for wrongful death alleging negligent entrustment against the client-vehicle owner.

May 2017 – Ian Bartalos and Clinton Turley secure defense verdict in defense of driver on pedestrian accident.

November 2016 – Ian Bartalos and Clinton Turley obtain summary judgment and complete dismissal of all claims against land-owner client regarding ATV accident. Plaintiff alleged negligent supervision and premises liability.

August 2015 – Michael McCausland, Jim Putnam and Clinton Turley obtain complete dismissal for insurance company client after favorable rulings on Motion to Enforce Settlement, Motion for Summary Judgment and Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings. Jim Putnam argued the case on appeal and the Court of Appeals unanimously affirmed.
